Men’s Movement
A men’s movement has begun and we need for you to join us.
Look within you and see if you have the passion that is required to be part of this journey with us. Ask God whether as a part of His calling, He directs you to become a member of our team so that your gifts and energy can make a significant contribution to this noble call. The longer you wait, the less you become and the more quickly the world around you dissolves. We are either part of the solution (men) or part of the problem (males).
The time has come for males to follow God and man up together for a purpose that is beyond themselves. Whatever your skill level or belief in your significance, you are necessary for us to succeed. Your singular drop may be what allows us to spill over into the world with such force as God’s knightly representatives, that a new way of living becomes available to many around us. Men of this movement are dedicated to personalizing the following beliefs:
Belief 1. Doing nothing for me is not an option. Things are often not right in the world around us and we are concerned if not scared about the future available to those we love, especially our children.
Belief 2: Change begins with me. We each individually are part of the problem as we have not followed God’s call to us to turn over important areas of our life to God’s influence. As a result of our lack of full dedication to His presence in our life, we often lack the strength to accomplish what we desire which would make our lives and those we lead better off.
Belief 3: God’s empowerment is necessary to succeed. We need God to become more than a concept that we periodically acknowledge throughout our daily existence. Instead, we need Him to empower us on a daily basis as we seek a moment by moment active connection to His spirit in our daily decision making.
Belief 4: The contribution of my manhood team strengthens my walk. We cannot attain this highly awakened spiritual state alone and not only need God but others in our lives to encourage us. It is through relationships with others, who act as temporary representatives of God’s love for us, that accountability, confrontation, comfort, exhortation, celebration, and encouragement can enter our lives. It is in this way that we must often fulfill God’s divine image within us. True satisfaction is the result. Instead of flailing about seeking our own desires, we are now available to fulfill the needs of others around us.
Belief 5: My mission begins at home. We each have been called by God to represent His love to our hurting world. We must begin this quest that God has called us to as noble Knights of the 21st Century, first within our most intimate relationships. It is these individuals that have been hurt the most by our old ways. They deserve to experience our resolute will to repair and restore what we have done negatively in their lives. As a result of bravely facing this our biggest challenge, past weaknesses will fall away as God strengthens us to do His will.
Belief 6: I am significant. Each one of us has a unique call by God and following this call, we contribute to our manhood team as He sees fit. Whether our efforts are not known by others or seen by many, fulfilling God’s call in a servanthood fashion is our focus. Honoring God and sharing His love for others is what motivates us and nothing else.
Belief 7: I commit to doing my part. It is not too late for you to change yourself, commit to God’s call on your life, and make a difference in our world. The largeness of the task ahead is no excuse for being less than we were meant to be. Each of us must take our section of the manhood rope before us and mightily pull in a way that moves our culture toward more Godly standards. The success of our efforts will not be achieved through half-hearted action, selfish thought, or ignoring God’s presence. Instead it will demand sweat, facing pain, courage, getting back up after we inevitably failed, and waiting upon God for the next step.
Belief 8: I follow God’s voice. Micah 6:8. The Lord has shown you what is good. He has told you what He requires of you. You must treat people fairly. You must love others faithfully and you must be careful to live the way your God wants you to.
